Films Fit for a Savage

My savages, with covid going on we are forced to shack up in our bat caves. Knowing this I wanted to provide you with some savage films, that may save you from making unnecessary Bass Pro Purchases. Crack a cold one, sit back, relax, and Be Authentik!

1. The Revenant:

This awesome film was modeled after the self-titled novel by Michael Punke. It tells that story of illustrious trapper/mountain man Hugh Glass and the Rocky Mountain Fur Company. The perils these guys faced while navigating Dakota’s mountain ranges under the constant eye of an Arikara Native American War Party and dangerous game, makes for an action-packed well shot film.

2. The Untouchables

This is a classic. If you are into the prohibition era and like a great tailored suit, this one is for you. Untouchables depicts the cat and mouse game played by Eliot Ness’s team of law enforcement personnel and Al Capone as they attempt to bring down his empire. This film is filled with a cast of heavy hitters (De Niro, Costner, Connery).

3.The Ghost And The Darkness

Bro’s this film holds a special place in my heart. One of the first films I can remember watching with my grandfather. It tells the story of a British army Engineer that is tasked with building a bridge in Tsavo Africa. Of course, anyone can build a bridge in 1898, but can you do it while you and your crew are being terrorized by man-eating lions. Give it a watch, you won’t be disappointed.
